UV-C Air Sanitizers are an effective method to clean air in confined occupied areas such as conference rooms and large areas such as Pilates and Dance Studios. Our UV-C Air Sanitizers have two Merv-13 filters and 220 watts of UV-C energy. Dirty air is drawn into the unit at the top through the Merv-13 filters and across the UV-C bulbs. The air is cleaned and moved back into the room at 500 cubic feet per minute. 500 cubic feet of air per minute cleans the air at a rate 17 times per hour in a 15 x 15 room. Merv-13 Filters capture 75 percent of particles 0.3-1.0 and the UV-C bulbs destroy the rest.
